Questions and bug reports

Domain0 is developed in the open. The fastest way to reach the people working on it is the issue tracker at https://github.com/domainzerohq/domain0/issues, where questions, bug reports, and provider requests are all handled in public so the answers stay searchable for the next person with the same problem.

When reporting a connection problem, the useful details are the domain's authoritative nameservers, the connection state the flow stopped in, and the typed error code that came back. Those three narrow almost any failure down to a single adapter.

Security reports

Please do not open a public issue for a suspected vulnerability. Use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting on https://github.com/domainzerohq/domain0 so the report stays confidential until a fix is available.

Contributing

Provider adapters are the most useful contribution. Each one needs a detection method, the record operations it supports, and conformance fixtures proving what it actually does. The repository documents the shape an adapter has to satisfy before it is reported as supported.
